Key Roadworks and Intersection Upgrades

Major infrastructure projects continue to influence traffic flow today. The intersection of James Congdon Drive and Sir Donald Bradman Drive remains a primary focus of activity. Ongoing upgrades at this critical link between the western suburbs, the airport, and the CBD are causing lane restrictions and reduced speed limits. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time if traversing this junction during the morning and afternoon peaks.

In the northern suburbs, minor finishing works and landscaping following the recent upgrades at The Grove Way and Canterbury Drive may cause intermittent lane closures. While the main thoroughfare is open, speed restrictions are in place to ensure the safety of workers on-site. Additionally, although the duplication of Main South Road between Aldinga and Sellicks Beach is now open to traffic, commuters in the far south should remain alert for any temporary speed limit adjustments as the new road surface continues to settle.
