Major infrastructure projects and several high-impact public transport detours are in effect, particularly affecting the CBD and the southern suburbs. Public Transport and Bus Stop Alerts

Adelaide Metro has confirmed multiple service disruptions for Monday morning. Commuters using the following routes should be aware of significant changes:

• King William Street and Currie Street: Major detours and stop closures remain in place. Stop E3 on Currie Street is closed until 10 February, affecting routes 98A, H30, and H33. Additionally, a significant detour on King William Street impacts more than 20 separate bus lines including the G10, 200, 222, and 721 series.
• South Road Corridors: Stop closures are active near Anzac Highway and South Road for route 248. Near Mile End and Thebarton, stops 4 and 8 on the east side of South Road have undergone changes due to ongoing infrastructure works.
• Fullarton Road: Bus stop changes continue at stops 10 and 11 on the west side, affecting the 171, 173, and school services 625 and 636.

• Norrie Avenue Intersection: A new signalised intersection at Norrie Avenue and South Road is now fully operational. Drivers should adjust to the new traffic flow between Tonsley Boulevard and Norrie Avenue where site establishment is complete.
• Adelaide Hills: Night work and asphalt upgrades are continuing on North East Road between Paracombe Road and Tippett Road. While major works are scheduled for off-peak hours, expect some remaining lane restrictions or speed limits during the early morning commute.
• Mount Barker: Construction remains heavy at the Adelaide Road and Alexandrina Road roundabout. With over 30,000 vehicles using this junction daily, delays are expected during the 7:30 am to 9:00 am peak.

Following the containment of the Deep Creek fire over the weekend, travelers on the Fleurieu Peninsula should be aware that smoke may still be visible around the Yankalilla and Deep Creek areas. While primary arterial roads are open, please remain vigilant for emergency service vehicles.
