Public Notice: LIV Golf Adelaide 2026 Event Transport

The City of Adelaide and the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) advise residents and visitors that LIV Golf Adelaide is currently underway at The Grange Golf Club, running through Sunday, 15 February 2026. To accommodate record crowds, the following arrangements are in place for Friday, 13 February:

• Free Travel: All Adelaide Metro bus, train, and tram services are free for commuters holding a valid event ticket. This remains in effect from the first service to the last service today.
• Dedicated Shuttles: High-frequency LIV Golf shuttle buses are operating between the CBD (near major hotels), Glenelg, West Beach, and the Adelaide 36ers Arena to The Grange Golf Club.
• Road Closures: Local roads surrounding The Grange will be subject to temporary closures at the conclusion of play each day to facilitate the safe departure of spectators. Expect delays on Frederick Road and Trimmer Parade.

SA Government Enterprise Agreement Ballot Deadline

The Public Service Association (PSA) of SA reminds all salaried public sector workers that the independent ballot for the proposed 2026 Salaried Enterprise Agreement concludes today. All eligible members must submit their votes via the 'CiVs' online portal by 5:00 pm on Friday, 13 February 2026. This ballot determines the adoption of the proposed wage increases and improved conditions for approximately 30,000 employees.

SA Health Advisory: Measles Transmission Alert

SA Health maintains a high alert for measles following the confirmation of locally acquired cases in the metropolitan area earlier this month. As of February 10, the 'red alert' for measles remains in effect. Health officials advise the public to be vigilant for symptoms, including fever, cough, and a blotchy rash. If you suspect you have been exposed, please phone your GP clinic before arriving to prevent potential spread to other patients. Residents are encouraged to verify their vaccination status via the Australian Immunisation Register.

Commuter and Roadwork Updates

Adelaide Metro has confirmed several service disruptions active this Friday. Commuters should plan for the following:

• Duthy Street: Stop 8 (West Side) is subject to temporary changes through the end of today.
• Panalatinga Road: Ongoing detours remain in place for routes 721, 721X, T721, and T722 due to roadwork.
