Public Notice: Adelaide City Operations and Health Advisory – February 14, 2026

Official City Roundup: Road Closures and Transport Services
The City of Adelaide and various state agencies have issued the following public notices for Saturday, 14 February 2026. Residents and visitors are advised to plan their travel accordingly due to a high volume of events across the metropolitan area.
Road Closures for Ebenezer Night Markets
To facilitate the safe operation of the Ebenezer Night Markets, the following road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect this Saturday evening:
- Ebenezer Place: Closed between Rundle Street and Union Street from 2:30 pm to 11:59 pm.
- Union Street: Closed between Rundle Street and Sym Choon Lane from 4:00 pm to 11:59 pm.
SAPOL has authorized these closures under the Road Traffic Act. Access for emergency services will be maintained throughout the event. Motorists should expect localized delays in the East End and are encouraged to use alternative routes.
Public Transport and LIV Golf Adelaide
LIV Golf Adelaide continues at The Grange Golf Club from Thursday, 12 February through Sunday, 15 February 2026. Official transport arrangements for Saturday include:
- Free Travel: Ticket holders are eligible for free travel on all regular Adelaide Metro bus, train, and tram services throughout the day.
- Shuttle Services: Dedicated shuttle buses will operate frequently, connecting the Adelaide CBD (North Terrace, Pulteney Street, Victoria Square, and Currie Street) and Glenelg (Wigley Reserve) directly to The Grange Golf Club.
Adelaide Metro has also noted a temporary detour on Ashley Street, Torrensville, which concludes on Saturday, 14 February. Commuters using routes 287 should check for minor service adjustments.
SA Health Advisory: Measles Alert
SA Health maintains a public health alert following the confirmation of measles cases in Adelaide earlier this month. While no new locations have been added today, officials advise the community that undetected measles may still be circulating.
Individuals who are not fully immunized should remain vigilant for symptoms for up to 21 days following potential exposure. Symptoms typically include a high fever, cough, runny nose, and sore eyes, followed by a characteristic blotchy rash. If symptoms develop, you must contact your GP via telephone before visiting the clinic to prevent further transmission.
Public Assemblies and Marches
The City of Adelaide has been notified of several public assemblies taking place on Saturday, 14 February 2026:
- Rundle Mall: An assembly is scheduled at the ‘Bronze Pig’ statues throughout the day.
- North Terrace: Two separate marches are expected to proceed to Parliament House. One will originate from Victoria Square North and the other from 169 Pirie Street.
Pedestrians and motorists should expect intermittent delays near King William Road and North Terrace during these events.
